How to Configure your E-mail Account on Outlook 2016(IMAP)
Click File → Info → Add account
The Outlook wizard for setting up a new account will open
Click Let me set up my account manually
Click POP/IMAP then next
Choose the account type IMAP
The dialog IMAP Account Settings will open up.
Use the following settings:
Incoming mail server imap.mail.com (Please refer to your email account setting)
Outgoing mail server smtp.mail.com (Please refer to your email account setting)
A login dialog will appear
Enter your e-mail address and your password
Click Remember Password
Click on More Setting then Advance
Incoming mail server with port 993
Use the following encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)
Outgoing mail server with port 587
Use the following encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)
Outlook 2016 will now sync with your mail.com account
